The Western Area Builders Association (WABA) is a professional trade association in partnership with and chartered by the North Dakota Association of Builders (NDAB) and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). This association serves members in Burke, Divide, McKenzie, Mountrail and Williams Counties. Membership in the association promotes professionalism within the building and construction industry, educational and safety opportunities, the exchange of ideas, and community leadership. Through strong public relations and local governmental affairs activities, the Western Area Builders Association works to create a favorable environment in the communities in which our members conduct business. By increasing the awareness of the professional building industry, this association enhances the image of its members in western North Dakota, and provides consumers with the information needed to make good decisions on their building needs.

WABA is pleased to be in partnership with the North Dakota Builders Association (NDAB) and the National Association of Home Builders to provide a "3-in-1" Membership for our builders and associates. Mission

The Western Area Builders Association serves and represents members of the professional building industry aspiring to be on the leading edge of home building through networking, education, legislation, and industry advocacy.

Purpose

The purpose of this Association to the extent permitted by law shall be:

• To associate the builders within its jurisdiction for the purpose of mutual advantage and cooperation.
• To collaborate with all fields related to the building industry within the Association’s jurisdiction for the benefit of the industry as a whole.
• To assist in the accomplishment of the mutual objectives of the National Association of Home Builders of the United States and the North Dakota Association of Builders.
• To operate without profit and ensure that no part of the income of the Association benefits any individual member.
